This set is intended to correct some inaccuracies of the 1:48 Trumpeter kit.
Released originally in 2003 the kit has some major issues to be tweaked:
- uncorrect NACA's / engines cowlings
- uncorrect landing gear wheel (shape & dimensions)
- uncorrect horizontal stabilizer
We proceeded to design and create new parts to correct these inaccuracies. The kit contains:
- n. 4 New NACA's (3 cylindrical cowlings + 1 conical cowling + open cowling)
- n. 3 New exhaust manifolds
- n. 1 Separated cowlings flaps to be used in a diorama
- n. 2 landing gear wheels with flat tread
- n. 2 landing gear wheels with treaded pattern tyre
- n. 2 horizontal stabilizers with separate aileron
